The Westin Hotel Closing Banquet
The closing banquet will take place at 7:00 at the Westin Hotel, in the San Marino Room, a spacious area with windows that overlook the hotel lobby below. An elegant buffet dinner will offer delights for every palate. Enjoy drinks before dinner at Las Ventanas bar, just a few steps from the lobby. Huntington staff are also welcome to attend.

$34 Chinese Garden Tour, October 6, Friday, 1:30 PM
Chinese Garden Tour – Named the Garden of Flowing Fragrance, this 15-acre space is one of the finest classical-style Chinese gardens outside of China. Filled with Chinese plants and framed by exquisite architecture, the landscape is enriched with references to literature and art. This tour is a 90-minute tour, including about 30 minutes on the Estate and one hour in the Chinese Garden. Requires advance registration. The fee includes admission to the grounds. $34. Payment due by September 20, 2023.

$34 Huntington Estate Tour, October 6, Friday, 1:30 PM
Estate Tour – The Huntington Botanical Gardens encompass 130 stunning acres featuring more than 83,000 living plants including rare and endangered species. This is a one-hour overview tour, visiting highlights of the themed gardens, including the Rose, Desert, Palm, Japanese, Chinese Gardens and more. Requires advance registration. The fee includes admission to the grounds. $34. Payment Due by September 20, 2023.

Jack London Symposium attendees will have free access to Haaga Hall where the symposium panels will be held. If attendees would like to visit the Huntington Gardens and Grounds during the symposium, they can pay a special daily rate of $13 through by payment through this portal. Deadline for payment is September 20, 2023.

The Gamble House Tour, Sunday, October 8, 10:00 AM
The Gamble House, designed by the architectural firm Greene and Greene and constructed in 1908-09, is an iconic American Craftsman home in Pasadena. It was designed as a home for David B. Gamble, son of the founder of the Proctor and Gamble company. A National Historic Landmark and a California Historical Landmark, Gamble House is a stunning example of Craftsman architecture. The two-part tour begins at 10:00 a.m. with an hour-long tour of the house itself , followed at 11:15 with a 90-minute tour of the historic neighborhood. Visitors are asked to wear broad-heeled flat shoes to protect the floors in the house and are advised that restroom facilities are very limited, chiefly consisting of a facility in the bookstore. A maximum of 36 guests can be accommodated. The Gamble house is located at 4 Westmoreland Place, in the 300 block of Orange Grove Blvd., between Wet Walnut St. and Rosemont Ave. Deadline for payment is September 20, 2023. The fee covers both parts of the tour: $30.
