Jack London

In this short film by Ben Goldstein, Mary Rudge discusses the life and work of Jack London. Rudge (1928-2014) was Poet Laureate of Alameda County and co-author of “For Love of Jack London.”
Jack London is well-known for his stories of adventure and survival, drawn from his own experiences at sea, in the Yukon Territory, and in the mills and canneries of California. Raised in Oakland, London became one of the most famous writers of the early 20th century with the publication of “The Call of the Wild” in 1903.
Filmmaker Ben Goldstein will be in attendance for Q & A after the screening.
